Enterprise Mobility is seeking a responsible, dedicated person to join our team as a Full‑Time Automotive Detailer. The starting rate of pay is $17/hour with an additional $1.00 per hour for all hours worked Monday‑Friday starting at 5:00pm and an additional $1.00 per hour for all shifts worked on Sundays. This position is located at the Charlottesville Airport: 100 Bowen Loop Charlottesville, VA 22911.

You will be responsible for washing, cleaning, sanitizing, inspecting, and preparing a variety of vehicles, including cars, trucks, and vans, ensuring they meet our high cleanliness and safety standards for customer rentals.

Responsibilities
  • Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interior according to industry‑standard protocols.
  • Wash, clean and dry the vehicle's exterior – this may include cars, vans and trucks.
  • Check fuel level and warning lights; inspect windshield for damage; factory reset/restore vehicle settings to clear prior customer data; check for customer items and place valuables in Lost & Found; verify registration is present, current and matches license plate.
  • Check fluid levels and add as needed; check tire condition, pressure and tread depth; inspect vehicle exterior for damage.
  • Fuel and stage vehicle.
  • Inspect vehicle for safety concerns; report any warning lights or damage; pull vehicle out of the prep processing as necessary.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area and report unsafe or hazardous conditions.
  • Operate tools such as carpet shampoo machines or air purifiers to eliminate stains, pet hair, and odors.
  • Assist customers when needed; may transport customers to and from the branches.
  • Help maintain overall site appearance including general cleaning of interior and exteriors of branch locations.
  • Site appearance responsibilities include: desktops, countertops, phones, floors, trash, bathrooms, vacuuming, sweeping the lot and other miscellaneous tasks related to daily cleanliness of the branch location.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Seek to improve job performance through self‑assessment, skill development, training and goal setting.
  • Maintain a regular and reliable level of attendance and punctuality.
  • Perform miscellaneous job‑related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at‑fault accidents in the past 3 years.
    No more than 8 points total on the driving record.
  • No drug or alcohol related violation on driving record in the past 3 years (e.g., DUI, DWI).
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work‑authorization sponsorship from our company for an employment‑based work permit or other work‑authorization document now or in the future.
  • Must have at least six (6) consecutive months of prior work/organizational experience.
