The Associate Accounting Consultant – IBAS is a client‑facing accounting role supporting a portfolio of franchise locations. This position blends core accounting execution with consultative communication to deliver accurate, timely financial reporting that helps franchise owners make informed business decisions.

You will join Insight Business Accounting Solutions (IBAS), PSB’s internal accounting and financial services team, which provides full‑cycle booking and financial reporting support across all PSB brands.

Your work directly supports small business owners nationwide by delivering accurate, timely financials that drive better decision‑making and long‑term profitability.

• Category bank and credit card transactions in Quick Books Online (QBO).
• Enter and review vendor bills and recurring expenses.
• Prepare and post journal entries, including payroll, royalties, and loan payments.
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and CRM‑imported customer payments.
• Review Profit & Loss statements and Balance Sheets for accuracy.
• Support monthly close processes, targeted for completion by the 15th of each month.
• Serve as a point of contact for franchise owners.
• Assist with new franchisee onboarding (OXP Process).
• Follow IBAS checklists, workflow, and documentation standards.
• Communicate clearly with franchise owners regarding financial questions and reporting timelines.

• Associate degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
• 1–3 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience.
• Familiarity with Quick Books Online (preferred).
• Understanding of P&L and Balance Sheet fundamentals.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple client accounts and recurring deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Organized, dependable, and comfortable working in a deadline‑driven environment.
• Service‑oriented mindset with the ability to explain financial information clearly.
