DescriptionWe are seeking a Warehouse Shipping & Receiving Associate to support daily warehouse operations. This role is responsible for accurate shipping and receiving, order picking and counting, maintaining shipping supplies, assisting with basic office tasks as needed, and participating in annual inventory counts. The ideal candidate is a team-oriented individual with strong attention to detail and the flexibility to support multiple areas of the operation.
Responsibilities- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy, quantity and damage
- Pick, count, and prepare orders for shipment with a high level of accuracy
- Pack, label, and prepare outgoing shipments in accordance with company and carrier requirements
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts
- Participating in annual physical inventory counts
- Ensure shipping and packing supplies are adequately stocked and organized
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment
- Assist with basic office or administrative tasks when needed (filing, data entry, paperwork)
- Communicate effectively with warehouse staff, office staff, and supervisors
- Adhere to all Jakob Mueller of America policies, safety procedures, and quality standards
- Previous warehouse, shipping, or receiving experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in picking and counting
- Ability to work well with others in a team-oriented environment
- Ability to read, write, and use basic computer systems for shipping and data entry
- Dependable, well-organized, and able to multitask
- Willingness to assist in different areas as business needs require
Physical Requirements
- Primarily a warehouse environment with occasional office support
- Requires standing, walking, bending, lifting, and repetitive motions throughout the shift
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. independently and 50–100 lbs. with team assistance
- Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
