Salary Range: $17.00 To $18.00 Hourly

About the Role:
The Warehouse Associate/Forklift Driver plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient and accurate handling of products within the distribution network. This position focuses on supporting the day-to-day operations of the distribution center, including receiving, storing, and shipping inventory to meet customer demands. The role requires close collaboration with team members to maintain inventory accuracy and uphold safety standards. The Associate II will contribute to optimizing workflow processes to enhance overall distribution efficiency.
Ultimately, this position supports the seamless movement of goods from the warehouse to customers, directly impacting customer satisfaction and operational success.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and accurately process incoming shipments according to company procedures.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Maintain organized and clean work areas to comply with safety and quality standards.
- Assist with inventory counts and report discrepancies to management promptly.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily distribution goals.
- Adhere to all company policies, including safety protocols and regulatory compliance.
- Operating a forklift and/or cherry-picker.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Basic math and reading skills to accurately process orders and documentation.
- Prior experience in a warehouse or distribution environment is preferred but not required.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
- Basic forklift operations experience (6 months – 2 years, rider/walkie)
- Must be able to work 1 st shift:
Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and barcode scanning technology.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Previous experience in a fast-paced distribution or logistics environment.
Skills:
- The required skills such as basic math, reading, and physical stamina are essential for accurately processing orders and handling materials safely throughout the day.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills enable the Associate II to coordinate with colleagues and supervisors to meet operational targets.
- Familiarity with inventory systems enhance efficiency and accuracy in daily tasks.
- Attention to detail ensures that shipments are prepared correctly, reducing errors and improving customer satisfaction.
- Adaptability and time management skills help the associate manage workload fluctuations and maintain productivity in a dynamic distribution environment.
