Equipment Dispatch Manager Job Description
As an Equipment Dispatch Manager, you will be responsible for managing a team of drivers to ensure the prompt receipt and delivery of equipment to customers. This role involves overseeing the application of Department of Transportation (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). managing schedules, and supporting customer service and sales goals within the business unit. The position requires physical activity, including bending, squatting, and lifting 50 pounds or more, and may involve working both indoors and outdoors.
Responsibilities- Directly manage employees responsible for picking up and delivering equipment.
- Train team members on assigned duties and ensure team safety and performance.
- Coordinate and ensure timely and accurate dispatch of rental equipment and tools.
- Create and monitor driver schedules and equipment delivery and receipt schedules.
- Review daily and weekly driver logs in accordance with company and DOT standards.
- Perform daily truck inspections according to company and DOT standards.
- Work closely with other store locations to meet equipment needs.
- Handle customer complaints professionally to resolve issues satisfactorily.
- Report problems to supervisors and follow up to ensure resolution.
- Provide feedback to Counter and Service Departments on equipment delivery and receipt.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures.
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2+ years of experience with construction/industrial equipment
- Knowledge of DOT Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations

Work both outside on construction sites and inside in a service space at a large Sunbelt Scaffolding location. The environment includes a vast open yard facility and a large two-story indoor facility with break rooms, water coolers, and vending machines.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Charlotte, NC.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.36/hr.
