Experienced Entry Writer

American Emo Trans Inc. is seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Experienced Entry Writer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience using Cargowise and a strong understanding of the freight forwarding and logistics business. This role is critical in ensuring accurate and timely processing of shipment documentation and entries.

• Prepare and process import entries accurately and in compliance with regulations
• Use Cargowise daily for shipment clearance
• Review shipping documents (commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, etc.)
• Ensure compliance with U.S. Customs and other regulatory requirements
• Communicate with customers, carriers, and internal teams
• Resolve entry discrepancies and documentation issues efficiently
• Maintain organized and accurate records

• Proven experience as an Entry Writer in freight forwarding or logistics
• Hands-on experience with Cargowise
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)

• Customs brokerage or forwarding background
• Familiarity with U.S. Customs regulations
• Experience working in a fast-paced logistics environment
