Transportation Analyst I

Immediate need for a talented Transportation Analyst I on a 03‑month contract with long‑term potential.

Location:

Charlotte, NC (Hybrid).

Pay Range: $19.00/hr - $21.00/hr employee benefits include health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Contract Details: 3‑month assignment to start with, goal to extend or convert. Hybrid schedule: onsite Tuesday–Thursday 8am–5pm, remote Monday & Friday. Overtime possible.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and contact bulk customers to validate order accuracy in the Transportation Management System (TMS) before carrier tender.
• Document customer contacts according to call script guidelines.
• Update data in the TMS and send email updates to customer service.
• Work independently with or without direct supervision.
• Maintain order integrity by verifying all order information; must be comfortable and courteous on the telephone.
• Collaborate with the bulk control tower team and take directions.
• Heavy customer service via emails, Teams chat, and phone calls.

Key Requirements and Technology

Experience:

• Experience in Outlook (plan/execute loads, assign carriers, track shipments) and TMS daily.
• Analytical skills (Excel Pivot tables).
• Customer service and transportation experience.
• Detail‑oriented, quick thinking, manage multiple priorities, efficient at follow‑up, fast acting.
