We are currently seeking a Software Engineer - Hybrid / Partially Client Onsite to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina (US-NC), United States (US).

Document Generation team is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to participate in the full system development lifecycle (SDLC) of enterprise applications that support high‑volume document generation, processing, printing, and electronic/postal delivery for the bank.

The team owns and supports critical document delivery infrastructure operating across Windows, Linux, and Open Shift (OCP) platforms.

The initial assignment will support the migration of Linux and Windows servers running Open Text Exstream from legacy data centers to new data centers, including server and application migration activities, middleware patching and upgrades, ongoing UI maintenance and enhancements, operational stability and performance support during and after migration.

• Participate in end‑to‑end SDLC activities including design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Develop and support applications related to document composition, generation, and delivery.
• Perform application‑side administration for Linux and Windows environments.
• Support and enhance Java‑based full‑stack applications.
• Collaborate in an Agile environment, ensuring delivery aligns with Wells Fargo Technology SDLC standards.
• Work across multiple platforms and technologies while managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Partner with infrastructure, platform, and QA teams to ensure high availability, resiliency, and performance.
• Contribute to automation, monitoring, and deployment best practices.

• Senior‑level software engineering experience with strong SDLC fundamentals and Agile delivery.
• Linux and Windows application‑side administration.
• Shell scripting (KSH or BSH).
• Tomcat and Jboss.
• SQL and relational database experience.
• Java full‑stack development experience, including Java, Spring / Spring Boot and Hibernate / JPA.
• Experience with SQL databases such as Postgre
  
  SQL and/or SQL Server.
• Experience working in enterprise‑scale, high‑volume systems.
• Experience with Open Text Exstream batch and real‑time server administration.

• UI development experience (Angular and/or React).
• Distributed systems and messaging, including Kafka with AVRO.
• Cloud‑native and containerized environments - Open Shift (OCP).
• Middleware and platform experience – Jboss and Apigee.
• Dev Ops and deployment practices - Blue‑Green deployments, Liquibase, Feature Toggles / Harness, Circuit Breaker patterns.
• Test automation and quality practices - JUnit, Karate, Cucumber, TDD / BDD.Observability and performance monitoring – App Dynamics, Grafana.
