Mobile Application Developer

We are seeking a Senior React Native Developer to support the evolution, modernization, and scalability of a large-scale mobile platform. This role focuses on upgrading and reimagining mobile experiences, enabling feature teams, and contributing to a multi‑year migration to React Native. You will help define best practices, build shared components, and support cross‑team development for a major B2B mobile application used in virtual vehicle auction operations.

• Contribute to the design, evolution, and modularization of the React Native mobile platform.
• Implement and maintain core platform features, shared components, and app fundamentals (startup, navigation, networking).
• Collaborate on architecture decisions and adoption of modern React Native capabilities (Turbo Modules, Fabric).
• Ensure consistency, performance, and maintainability across shared modules and the overall mobile ecosystem.
• Support migration efforts as part of a multi‑year move toward a unified React Native platform.
• Support feature teams by building reusable modules, design‑system components, and developer tooling.
• Help translate Smart Auction web functionality into a fully featured mobile experience.
• Provide guidance on best practices, coding standards, and scalable React Native patterns.
• Serve as a senior technical resource for debugging complex issues and optimizing app performance.
• Contribute to testing strategies, CI/CD pipelines, and automated release processes.
• Participate in platform decisions and continuously improve developer experience and productivity.
• Mentor engineers and promote engineering excellence across teams.

• 3+ years of software engineering experience.
• 2+ years of React Native experience in production apps.
• Experience building reusable, modular components in large‑scale mobile apps.
• Preferred:
  Native Android (Kotlin/Java) or iOS (Swift/Objective‑C) experience.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, mobile build/release automation, and tooling.
• Familiarity with React Native New Architecture, Expo, and platform modularization.
• Strong debugging and performance optimization skills.
• Experience working in large B2B platforms or enterprise mobile applications.
• Clear communicator with strong cross‑team collaboration skills.

• Supporting a major B2B virtual auction mobile application.
• Fast‑paced project with a strict June delivery target; building from the ground up.
• 12‑month contract with strong potential for extension.
• Working as one of two primary consultants leading mobile platform development.
