Frontend Developer

Our client is seeking a mid-level Software Engineer in Charlotte, NC, with 5–8 years of experience to support the design, development, and enhancement of modern software solutions. In this hybrid role, you will work closely with senior engineers while also operating independently to deliver high-quality, scalable applications. You will contribute across the full development lifecycle—including coding, testing, debugging, and production support—while collaborating with business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver value-driven solutions.

The ideal candidate will have strong front-end or full stack development skills, hands-on experience with AWS services, and a background in Java or Python. Experience with Snowflake and analytical tools is also required. This position demands strong problem-solving abilities, effective communication with both technical and non-technical audiences, and the ability to work both independently and as part of cross-functional teams.

• Develop, test, debug, and support new and existing software applications
• Partner with senior developers on system design and solution implementation
• Work independently to plan, manage, and complete assigned technical tasks
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolution to business users
• Collaborate directly with business stakeholders to gather requirements and communicate technical information clearly
• Analyze technical challenges and use sound judgment to recommend solutions
• Contribute constructive feedback to improve team processes and performance
• Identify opportunities for optimization, efficiency, and cost savings through technology
• Take initiative on complex or stretch assignments to expand technical expertise
• Continuously develop skills and stay current with emerging technologies and best practices

• 5–8 years of experience in software engineering
• Experience as a UI Developer or Full Stack Developer
• Hands-on experience with AWS services, including EC2, RDS, Lambda, S3, Cloud Front, Step Functions, and AWS Batch (or similar compute services)
• Development background in Java or Python
• Experience with scripting and backend logic implementation
• Experience working with Snowflake
• Familiarity with analytical and reporting tools
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
• Comfortable working in collaborative, cross-functional environments
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage work independently
