Software Engineer, Full Stack Developer
Job Summary
Primary Talent Partners has a new contract opening for an Angular Developer with our large power and utilities client in Charlotte, NC. This is a 3-year contract with a potential for extension. This is a hybrid position – 3 days a week in office.
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must be able to sit on Primary Talent Partners W2 without sponsorship.
Compensation & BenefitsPay: $55.00 - $65.00/hr; W2 contract, no PTO, no benefits. ACA-compliant supplemental package available for enrollment.
Schedule: Front End | Local to Charlotte/Hybrid (Mon-Wed).
Responsibilities- Design and build complex software solutions using agile.
- Program well-designed, efficient code with moderate supervision from lead or senior engineers.
- Collaborate with designers, developers, and product owners to build cloud native software solutions targeting AWS.
- Clearly communicate progress and identify blocking issues.
- Participate in paired programming and code reviews with seniors to expand knowledge and understanding of software engineering.
- Complete independent research to refine best practices and present work to peers. Software engineers must possess:
- Display significant familiarity and comfort in using IDEs. Knows short‑cuts and frequent operations that speed up development time.
- Display a solid understanding of APIs. Have been involved in designing, building, and implementing APIs in previous projects.
- Display a deep and solid understanding of cloud‑native software engineering best practices.
- Manage databases via database views, SQL, etc.
- Turn user stories into workable solutions, provide estimates, and break down complex work into smaller components.
- Debug and avoid future problems by building more robust solutions.
- Configure CI/CD tools.
- 2-5 years’ previous experience in software development. Primary toolsets desired
