Summary

Hands‑on design and ETL development in Data Warehouse environment.

Job #3020677 – Application Programmer III – Charlotte, NC – 12‑month contract.

• Work on multiple projects concurrently, take ownership and pride in the work done, attend project meetings, understand requirements, design solutions, and develop code.
• Partner with near‑shore and offshore teammates in a matrix environment, coordinate with support teams such as L2, development, testing, and upstream/downstream partners.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts to understand requirements and work on high‑level and detailed design to address real‑time issues in production.
• Work with the Information Architecture team to propose technical solutions to business problems.
• Identify gaps in technology and propose viable solutions.
• Take accountability for the technical deliveries from offshore.
• Have a solid understanding of Data Warehousing and Dimensional Data Modeling concepts.
• Work with development teams and QA during the post‑code development phase.
• Identify improvement areas within the application and work with respective teams to implement them.
• Ensure adherence to defined process and quality standards, best practices, and high‑quality levels in all deliverables.
• Adhere to the team’s governing principles and policies.

• Strong leadership, communication, writing, and relationship skills across varied levels of influence.
• Ability to design systems with little direction or guidance.

• Strong knowledge of project life cycle, Data Warehousing, Dimensional Data Modeling.
• Ability to multitask and work independently.
• Expert knowledge of Oracle/Exadata.
• Expert knowledge of Oracle SQL/PLSQL.
• Experience with ETL processing concepts, handling large data volumes, and performance tuning.

Large Financial Organization experience / exposure.
