Overview

The Talent Mine is recruiting for an in-office Sr. .NET Software Engineer (with some Architecture/Mentoring) for an immediate FTE role in the Charlotte metro area. This role is with North America's largest recycler, a company with an unprecedented track record of employee investment and stability (ZERO LAYOFFS in the 70+ year history of the company!)

Design, develop, test, and maintain backend and middle-tier software solutions using .NET. Provide architecture input, mentoring, and collaboration with business stakeholders to deliver custom software solutions. Lead requirements gathering for routine to moderately complex projects. Ensure safety, repeatability, and production readiness in manufacturing and integration contexts. Travel occasionally for training, vendor visits, and on-site implementations as needed.

• 7+ years of backend focused .NET development experience, including designing, programming, testing, debugging, documenting, maintaining, and deploying software.
• 2+ years mentoring less seasoned engineers and working with the business to create custom software solutions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline; equivalent experience considered.
• Experience designing and implementing scalable software architectures focusing on safety and repeatability.
• Ability to lead requirements gathering for routine to moderately complex projects.
• Ability to travel occasionally as needed for training, visiting vendors, and on-site implementations.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud) storage, execution, and data exchange mechanisms.
• Experience with client/server fundamentals including wide area data distribution and synchronization.
• Experience employing OAuth 2 and OData.
• Experience designing, developing, and optimizing MS SQL databases.

TOTAL COMPENSATION = $179,000- $213,000
, which includes:

• Base salary range: $140,000 - $154,000
• Annual bonus of 28-32% (historically over the past 5 years)
