Senior/Lead Java Developer (12+ months, W2 Only)
Hybrid: 300 South Brevard Street, Charlotte, North Carolina 28202, United States

Client seeks a senior developer with 5+ years of full‑stack experience, preferring Java expertise with strong front‑end and back‑end skills. Experience with Generative AI technologies is a plus.

• Consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Software Engineering, contributing to large‑scale planning.
• Review and analyze moderately complex Software Engineering challenges requiring in‑depth evaluation of variable factors.
• Contribute to the resolution of moderately complex issues and consult with others to meet deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with client personnel in Software Engineering.

• Proficiency: 5+ years of professional experience in software development, focusing on Java.
• Experience setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
• Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, PyTest, or similar.
• 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work/consulting experience, training, military experience, or education.

• Continuous Improvement:
  Stay up‑to‑date with the latest trends and technologies in software development and suggest improvements to current processes and tools.
• Testing & Debugging:
  Develop and execute unit and integration tests to ensure reliability and stability of applications.

  Maintain comprehensive documentation for developed solutions, including design specifications, user guides, and technical manuals.
