Lead Java Developer

Location:

Charlotte, NC / Phoenix, AZ / Minneapolis, MN / Iselin, NJ (Hybrid). Duration: 12+ Months.

Manager is looking for solid candidates with Full Stack Java and/or Python experience, with React/Angular on the front end and Mongo or SQL on the backend. Experience with Gen AI depth will set them apart from the pack. The role uses Git Hub Copilot.

• Consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Software Engineering and contribute to large‑scale planning related to Software Engineering deliverables.
• Review and analyze moderately complex Software Engineering challenges that require an in‑depth evaluation of variable factors.
• Contribute to the resolution of moderately complex issues and consult with others to meet Software Engineering deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with client personnel in Software Engineering.

• Continuous Improvement:
  Stay up‑to‑date with the latest trends and technologies in software development and suggest improvements to current processes and tools.
• Testing & Debugging:
  Develop and execute unit and integration tests to ensure the reliability and stability of the applications.
• Documentation:
  Maintain comprehensive documentation for the developed solutions, including design specifications, user guides, and technical manuals.

• 5 plus years of professional experience in software development, with a focus on Java.
• CI/CD pipelines:
  Experience in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines.
• Containerization:
  Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
• Testing Frameworks:
  Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, PyTest, or others.
• 4 plus years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education.

Pay Range: $70 - $75. The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
