What you’ll do

Become part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the electric pickup truck and rugged SUV marketplace by achieving the following:

  • Build and orchestrate automation workflows using n8n, LLMs, and agentic frameworks.
  • Utilize ML flow to automate the training of ML models for forecasting and intelligent decision support.
  • Integrate AI tools into business processes and data platforms.
  • Develop intelligent agents capable of autonomous task execution and reasoning.
  • Implement AI-powered chatbots and assistants.
  • Leverage Streamlit to build interactive AI dashboards and applications.
  • Use OpenWebUI to create user-friendly interfaces for LLM-based tools and workflows.
  • Parse and extract structured data from documents using Llama Parse and similar tools.
  • Implement semantic search and retrieval systems using vector databases like Pinecone.
  • Utilize OpenAI APIs, Anthropic Claude and others for LLM-based tasks.
  • Ensure AI systems meet compliance, security, and ethical standards.
Location & Travel Expectations
  • This role will be based out of the Scout Motors corporate headquarters in Charlotte, NC. It may be remote to start but will transition to in-office within 3–6 months. This role is not eligible for remote work in New York City.
  • This role requires 4–5 days per week in the office, with regular in-person meetings and events.
  • Applicants should expect that the role will require the ability to convene with Scout colleagues in person and travel to participate in events on behalf of the company from time to time.

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with AI-powered automation workflows using n8n and LLMs.
  • Proven experience in designing and deploying ML models and intelligent agents.
  • Experience with OpenWebUI interfaces for LLM-powered tools.
  • Proficiency in OpenAI, Anthropic, and vector databases.
  • Strong Python skills and understanding of ML/AI frameworks.
  • Knowledge of Streamlit-based AI dashboards and applications.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure as code (Terraform).
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills. You treat colleagues with respect, have a desire for clean implementations, and are humble in discussing alternative solutions and options.
  • Minimum of High School Diploma, GED or equivalent required for all roles at Scout Motors, Inc.
