LEAD Java OR .NET Backend Engineer; Data Systems

Our client is seeking a Java OR .NET Backend Engineer to join their dynamic team. As a Backend Engineer, you will be integral to supporting enterprise data-driven applications, focusing on backend development, relational database integration, and maintaining production systems within a mixed Windows and Linux server environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate resilience, collaboration, and a proactive approach, aligning seamlessly with the organization’s innovative culture.

Job Title: Java OR .NET Backend Engineer

Location: Charlotte, North Carolina Hybrid (Open to Manhattan and Addison, TX as well)

Duration: 12+ months

Pay Range: 60-65/hr W2

(Due to client rules we are unable to work with 3rd party subcontractors; all candidates must be able to work on Experis' W2 directly)

• Develop and maintain robust backend systems using Java or .NET technologies.
• Integrate and optimize relational databases such as Oracle and SQL Server.
• Support and enhance production applications ensuring high availability and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions.
• Participate in Agile development processes to ensure continuous improvement.

• 5–8 years of backend development experience with Java or .NET.
• Strong proficiency with relational databases, including Oracle and SQL Server.
• Experience working within Windows and Linux server environments.
• Solid understanding of backend architecture and service-based systems.
• Excellent communication skills and a proven track record of delivering in Agile environments.
