We are seeking an experienced Android Developer for a contract position located in Charlotte, NC. This role focuses on designing and building native mobile applications for the Android platform, collaborating with the design team, and ensuring high quality performance.

• Design and build native mobile applications on the Android platform.
• Collaborate with the design team to define app features.
• Ensure quality and performance of the application to specifications.
• Identify potential problems and resolve application bottlenecks.
• Fix application bugs before final release.
• Publish application on the App Store (iOS support).
• Maintain code and automate the application.
• Participate in continuous integration and write unit tests.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or software engineering.
• 5–7 years of professional experience; at least 5+ years in Android/iOS development using Kotlin and/or Java.
• Experience with Core Java, Kotlin, Objective‑C/Swift, Swift
  
  UI.
• Experience writing automated tests using Appium.
• Proficiency in Xcode and mobile web services (REST).
• Code versioning with Git or Bitbucket.
• Familiarity with biometrics, push notifications, Camera APIs.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, team‑based environment.
• Strong focus on troubleshooting and issue resolution.

• Experience with continuous integration and unit tests.
• Knowledge of C‑based libraries.

Contract position based out of Charlotte, NC.

Pay range: $50.00–$65.00 per hour. Eligibility requirements apply.
