Junior Software Engineer

We are seeking a recent college graduate to join the team as a Software Developer! In this role, you will help design, build, test, and deploy modern applications that enhance the customer experience. This organization is heavily investing in cloud-native platforms, GenAI-enabled development practices, and scalable backend services to deliver cutting-edge technical solutions.

• Support IVR solutions on the Genesys platform and agent experiences through Salesforce.
• Establish coding best practices, conduct constructive peer code reviews, enable CI/CD and test and release pipelines.
• Work with Dev Ops team to build and deploy the software solutions to AWS.
• Open to learn and contribute to features built using modern technologies
• Work on triaging production and integration issues from API consumers.
• Follow agile and lean development principles to ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
• Collaborate closely with Senior Engineers, Architects, Designers, and Product Owners to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Apply modern development practices including CI/CD, testing strategies, and automation.
• Leverage GenAI tools to assist with coding, debugging, refactoring, and solution design in real-world scenarios.

• Mentorship and hands-on learning with senior engineers in a fast-growing cloud environment.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (completed or in progress).
• Python
• Type Script.
• Node.js (primary backend framework).
• Experience building RESTful APIs.
• Strong foundational knowledge of AWS.
• Hands-on experience deploying applications in AWS using Lambda functions and/or container-based services.
• Familiarity with Graph
  
  QL, including its purpose and advantages.
• Foundational understanding of GenAI-assisted development tools and modern coding practices from the last 1–2 years.

• Experience with Express.js.
• Exposure to React or React Native.
• Familiarity with containerization tools.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
• Interest in data platforms or visualization tools.
