Overview
Akkodis is seeking a Python Developer for a Contract with a client in Charlotte, NC
. The ideal candidate requires deep mastery of Python and Generative AI to develop scalable APIs and integrate foundation models using AWS Bedrock.
Rate Range: $60/hour to $68/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
- Lead full‑lifecycle development of web applications, including architecture, backend services in Python, front‑end interfaces, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Architect scalable backend systems using Python frameworks (Django/Flask) and build high‑performance Angular front‑end interfaces.
- Integrate AWS Bedrock foundation models and develop agentic systems to enable intelligent automation, reasoning, planning, and tool usage.
- Design, develop, and maintain APIs (REST/Graph
QL) and manage relational and No
SQL databases to support application functionality. - Troubleshoot and debug full‑stack issues while ensuring clean, well‑documented, testable code aligned with best practices.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with product, design, data science, and engineering teams, contributing to code reviews, documentation, and continuous improvement.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical field.
- 10+ years of experience in Python development, full‑stack engineering, and modern application architecture.
- Strong expertise in Generative AI, including integrating foundation models (AWS Bedrock) and building agentic systems.
- Proven ability to develop scalable full‑stack solutions using Python (Django/Flask), Angular, APIs, and cloud‑native architectures.

Pay Details: $60.00 to $68.00 per hour
