Software Engineer, Java Developer
Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain responsive web applications with a strong focus on frontend development using Reactjs
- Build and integrate backend services using Java Spring Boot. Collaborate with cross functional teams to define design and deliver new features
- Write clean, scalable and maintainable code across the stack
- Optimize application performance, quality and responsiveness
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers
- Debug and resolve technical issues across frontend and backend components
- Stay current with emerging technologies, frameworks and best practices
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
- 3 years of hands‑on experience in frontend development using Reactjs
- 2 years of experience in backend development using Java and Spring Boot
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
- Experience with Git and version control workflows
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Dev Ops practices
- Knowledge of relational and No‑SQL databases (eg MySQL, Mongo
DB) - Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP
- Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes
- Exposure to Agile Scrum development methodologies
- Knowledge of testing frameworks such as JUnit, Jest or Cypress
