Duration: 12 Months Contract
Schedule: Standard Hours (Monday - Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM)

• Develop and deploy Java
  17/Spring 6 microservices within a Kubernetes/Open Shift environment.
• Design and implement database interactions using Mongo
  
  DB or Oracle, optimizing for performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve cloud‑based application issues and ensure system stability.
• Participate in code reviews and collaborate on complex technical solutions.
• Monitor application performance and implement improvements to maintain optimal efficiency.
• Resolve application performance issues, including memory leaks, high CPU usage, and thread lock.
• Developed and maintained high‑traffic, Tier 0 applications.

• 8+ years of overall experience in hands‑on Java development.
• Proficient in Java
  17 and Spring 6.
• Extensive experience with Microservices architecture.
• Database proficiency with Oracle.
• Experience solving application performance issues such as memory leaks, high CPU usage, and thread lock.
• Experience working on a high‑traffic, Tier 0 application.

• Experience implementing security best practices and ensuring the security of cloud‑based applications.
• Familiarity with OAuth, JWT, and other modern authentication and authorization mechanisms.
• Experience with automation and implementing Dev Ops practices.
• Contribute to technical strategy development and architectural design.
• Strong stakeholder management and business acumen, along with expertise in agile development and risk management.
• Prior banking or financial experience.

• Hourly Rate: $60 – $65 per hour. This reflects base compensation and may vary based on candidate qualifications.
