Gen-AI Engineer Hybrid - Charlotte, NC

Job Summary

We are seeking a GenAI Ops Engineer with strong hands‑on experience building, operationalizing, and monitoring LLM and RAG‑based applications in production. This role focuses on implementing guardrails, observability, and evaluation frameworks to ensure enterprise‑ready, safe, and scalable Generative AI systems.

• Contract position based out of Charlotte, NC.
• Hybrid onsite 3 days per week in Charlotte, NC.
• Must work W2 (no C2C).

• Build, operationalize, and monitor LLM and RAG applications in production.
• Implement guardrails, observability, and evaluation frameworks for enterprise‑ready, safe, and scalable Generative AI systems.

• Proven hands‑on experience delivering LLM and RAG applications in production.
• Strong experience with GenAI Ops, guardrails, and AI observability.
• Hands‑on experience with Lang Chain.
• Experience with the OpenAI API, including chat completions and embeddings.
• Knowledge of Tensor
  
  RT and vLLM.
• Strong proficiency in Python and ML libraries (Num Py, Pandas, Scikit‑learn, PyTorch/Tensor Flow).
• Experience using LLMs as Judges / SLMs for evaluation and compliance metrics.
• Hands‑on experience with Open Shift or Kubernetes.
• Experience optimizing inference latency and performance.
• Strong communication skills and ability to lead cross‑functional initiatives.

Pay range: $65.00 - $85.00 per hour.
