Lead .NET Developer

About the role

As a .NET Full Stack Lead, you will make an impact by designing and developing scalable, cloud-native applications and microservices using modern technologies. You will be a valued member of the Technology & Engineering team and collaborate closely with architects, Dev Ops engineers, and front-end developers to deliver high-quality solutions.

This position requires an in-person interview at our Cognizant or client offices located in Charlotte, NC.

• Build scalable APIs and microservices using .NET Core (.NET
  8) with clean architecture and dependency injection.
• Develop backend components using C# (C# 12), leveraging object-oriented programming, LINQ, and async/await.
• Design and optimize complex queries, stored procedures, and data models in SQL Server and Postgre
  
  SQL.
• Create dynamic front-end applications using Angular (Angular 17), including reactive forms, RxJS, and NgRx for state management.
• Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker, ECS, and EKS on AWS.
• Implement serverless solutions using AWS Lambda and event-driven architecture.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of software components.
• Participate in code reviews, performance tuning, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Strong experience with .NET Core (.NET
  8) and C# (C# 12).
• Proven experience in building RESTful APIs and microservices using clean architecture principles.
• Hands‑on experience with Angular 11 and above (preferably Angular 17).
• Proficiency in SQL Server, Postgre
  
  SQL, and No
  
  SQL databases.
• Experience working with AWS services including Lambda, ECS, EKS, and Kafka.
• Solid understanding of containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with state‑management tools like NgRx and reactive programming using RxJS.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Dev Ops practices.
• Knowledge of cloud‑native application development and serverless architecture.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira or Azure Dev Ops.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

The annual salary for this position is between $68,422‑$131,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
