We are hiring Golang engineers at all seniority levels on teams that use Go for backend services, cloud infrastructure, and distribution systems. The role is fully remote and benefits from a distributed, collaborative culture.

• Design, implement, test, and document well‑structured Go software.
• Debug and resolve production issues affecting users.
• Participate in code reviews and architectural discussions.
• Collaborate with the community and internal teams on technical specifications.
• Suggest improvements to engineering and operations practices.
• Deploy and operate services when required.
• Advocate for best practices and contribute to product success.

• Academic excellence; degree in Computer Science, STEM, or a compelling alternative path.
• Self‑starting, organized, and capable of delivering on schedule.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a professional manner in interactions.
• Hands‑on experience writing high‑quality Go software on Linux.
• Deep passion for Linux at the system level.
• Senior candidates: experience building, deploying, and operating distributed systems and APIs.
• Professional proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Experience with Debian or Ubuntu preferred.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and flexible, accountable mindset.
• Drive for results and a commitment to meet commitments.
• Ability to travel twice yearly for company events up to two weeks.

• Developing for Ubuntu Linux.
• Experience with Juju, LXD, Microk8s, Snapd, Ubuntu Core, or Ubuntu Pro.
• Performance engineering and security knowledge.
