We are looking for a Frontend Engineer who can design and deliver complex solutions while providing technical leadership within their team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Type Script and React, with the ability to mentor others and drive technical decisions that impact our customer-facing applications.

• Lead the design and implementation of complex frontend features using Type Script and React, ensuring high-quality, reusable components that scale across our financial products

• Provide technical leadership in architectural decisions and establish best practices for frontend development

• Partner with product and design teams to define and implement intuitive interfaces that help ecommerce brands access and manage their funding

• Drive improvements in performance, accessibility, and user experience across our platform

• Mentor junior developers and conduct thorough code reviews to maintain high code quality standards

• Collaborate with backend teams to design and implement robust API integrations

• Lead technical discussions and contribute to the team's technical strategy

• Identify and proactively address technical debt and system scalability challenges

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience

• 5+ years of professional experience in software development, with deep expertise in frontend development

• Advanced proficiency in Type Script and extensive experience with React and modern frontend architectures

• Expert knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript fundamentals with a focus on performance optimisation

• Strong experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs and managing complex state

• Solid understanding of Python and Django, with the ability to mentor others

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and maintaining high-quality testing practices

• Proven track record of leading technical initiatives and mentoring junior developers

• Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to break down complex problems

• Excellent communication abilities and experience managing stakeholder relationships

What is important to point out is that you can do most or all of the above mentioned and can point to your real experience doing it. You've probably done it at companies of different shapes, sizes and industries. Given what we do, experience in financial services, fintech and business‑to‑business organisations is particularly interesting to us.

You should be comfortable making and defending technical decisions, while remaining open to feedback and alternative approaches. You'll need to balance technical excellence with business needs and help guide the team toward pragmatic solutions.
