Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced

Low Voltage Service Technicianto install, service, and troubleshoot access control and security systems at commercial and multi-family properties.

Responsibilities include:

• Installation, service, and maintenance of low-voltage systems
• Gate automation operators (slide, swing, barrier arms)
• Access control systems (card readers, keypads, controllers)
• Door hardware including electric strikes, maglocks, and electrified panic/push bars
• Troubleshooting wiring, power issues, and system failures
• Performing service calls and documenting work completed

Requirements:

• Experience with low-voltage access control and security systems
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and troubleshoot effectively
• Knowledge of door hardware and gate operators
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Strong problem-solving skills and professionalism on site

Preferred (but not required):

• Experience with commercial properties
• Gate operator or access control manufacturer experience
• Lift or gate safety certification
