Level 3 Maintenance Technician – Charlotte, NC

We are currently seeking a qualified Level 3 Maintenance Technician for our community in Charlotte, NC 28213.

• Plumbing work such as repairing or replacing faucets and toilets, operating a sewer cleanout auger, diagnosing and repairing simple water leaks.
• Electrical work such as light fixtures, GFCI’s, understanding lightbulb wattage, replacing breakers and fuses, replacing outlets and light switches.
• Carpentry work such as building stairs and ramps, framing doors and windows, installing landscaping timbers.
• Additional residential repairs including replacing/installing floors, installing siding and skirting, installing/replacing doors and windows, drywalling and painting.
• Oversee the curb appeal of the community; ensure it meets Riverstone Communities’ standards: pick up trash, groundskeeping (lawn mowing, planting flowers, weeding), etc.
• Complete clean outs of homes.
• Read water meters for each home (if applicable).
• Finish work orders efficiently and timely.
• Take training classes online/virtually via computer or tablet.
• Complete day-to-day duties with minimal supervision.
• Adhere to all safety laws and regulations.
• Conduct regular inventory checks on equipment and supplies.

• 3+ years of experience in residential or commercial property maintenance OR in a technical field such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC.
• 3+ years of experience in groundskeeping and/or landscaping.
• 3+ years of experience in some of the following: carpentry, painting (indoor/outdoor), flooring, drywalling, installing windows and doors, roofing, or framing.
• Ability to be very active – walking, bending, standing, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Willing to work outside in all weather conditions.
• Willingness to use basic technology/learn technology.
• Legally able to operate a motor vehicle (drive to different locations on the property) with a valid driver’s license.
• Specific maintenance knowledge/skills will be tested for accuracy.
