Place Services, Inc., headquartered in Canton, GA, has an immediate need for experienced Supermarket Refrigeration Installers in several geographic regions including Nashville, Knoxville, Birmingham, Atlanta, Greenville, SC, and Charlotte. This high‑travel position primarily involves night work with occasional day shift and requires a strong travel commitment.

$23.00/hr – $42.00/hr

• Execute installation of refrigeration systems according to blueprints, specifications and local building codes
• Build and install pipe hangers, fit and braze copper pipe ensuring proper installation of refrigerated cases in supermarkets
• Assemble, position, and mount refrigeration units, condensers, compressors, and other components
• Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment
• Maintain compliance with industry regulations and standards for refrigeration systems
• Follow proper disposal procedures for refrigerants and hazardous materials in accordance with environmental regulations
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, including installation logs, service reports and equipment specifications
• Document equipment inspections, repairs and maintenance tasks for reference and future analysis
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding job progress, issues encountered and solutions implemented
• Interact professionally with supermarket management and staff to understand refrigeration needs and address concerns
• Provide courteous and responsive customer service, resolving inquiries and requests in a timely manner

• Experience as a Lead, Pipe Fitter, Case Setter, Helper or apprenticeship candidates are encouraged to apply
• Excellent attention to detail with a strong focus on quality output
• Team player who embodies a “we over me” mentality and understands the impact of actions on the group
• Effective verbal and written communicator representing the company professionally
• Flexible and adaptable to changing business needs and priorities
• Eager for continuous improvement and driving innovation to enhance company practices

• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record per the fleet policy
• Physical ability to walk distances, bend, crouch, climb ladders, work at high elevations and lift/carry objects up to fifty pounds repetitively and for extended periods
• Prompt and detailed communication skills
• Availability to work nights and/or Sundays
• Working knowledge of basic and commercial refrigeration (preferred for Lead)
• EPA certification preferred but not required
