Position overview and benefits are listed below. This role is an entry-level position focused on assisting electricians and crew members with installation and basic job duties.

• Assist electricians and crew members in the installation of electrical systems and components
• Work with tools, install conduit, wire, junction boxes, and electrical lighting
• Keep materials, tools, and equipment organized; maintain a clean work area
• Demonstrate safe work habits and proper care of tools and equipment
• Learn and perform tasks as instructed by foreman/crew leader
• Gather and transport required tools and materials to assigned work areas
• Provide assistance to more skilled workers involved in installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems
• Perform physically demanding tasks as needed (e.g., digging trenches, lifting heavy objects)
• Work from ladders, scaffolds, and aerial lifts
• Be a dependable team player and maintain promptness
• Follow Adams Safety Program and practice safe working habits
• Maintain the required hand tools as listed by Adams Electric Helpers’ tool list

• High School Graduate or GED; or equivalent studies
• Previous electrical work experience preferred

• Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required (hard hat, vest, protective eyewear, safety boots)
• Indoor and outdoor work; exposure to cold, heat, moisture, and wind
• Must be physically able to repetitively lift at least 50 lbs
• Must comply with the company’s drug and alcohol testing and background screening
