At Network Imaging Systems (NIS), we’re looking for a skilled and reliable Field Service Technician to support our mission of keeping critical diagnostic imaging equipment running smoothly and safely for healthcare providers and their patients.

- Performing planned maintenance and emergency service on CT and MRI equipment at customer sites
- Accurately troubleshooting at least 50% of assigned calls independently
- Providing excellent support by responding to service requests, both onsite and by phone
- Documenting service and maintenance activities in detailed, professional reports
- Installing, staging, and deinstalling equipment at medical facilities and at our NIS facility
- Performing final QA testing, repairs, and performance assessments prior to field deployment
- Handling parts testing and repairs, with proper documentation
- Collaborating with our internal team to ensure quality, consistency, and safety standards are always met
- Associate’s degree in a technical field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in MRI and CT equipment repair
- A solid understanding of electrical/mechanical systems, safety protocols, and diagnostic testing
- Proficiency with basic math and algebra, reading technical documentation, and writing reports
- Strong communication skills and the ability to clearly explain technical information to customers and peers
- A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel (approx. 5 overnight trips/month)
- The ability to use tools like voltmeters, oscilloscopes, and power tools
- Hands-on problem-solving

Physical And Work Environment Notes- Lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Stand, crouch, climb, and crawl as needed during installations and repairs
- Work in environments with moderate noise, electrical equipment, and radiation exposure
- Travel by car or air for service calls as required
