Role DescriptionThe Critical Facilities Technician role is a full-time, on-site position located in Charlotte, NC. Responsibilities include performing preventative and corrective maintenance on critical systems such as HVAC, electrical, and mechanical equipment to ensure optimal operation. The technician will monitor data center infrastructure, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, maintain detailed records, and ensure compliance with safety and operational protocols. The role requires rigorous attention to detail, collaboration with team members, and adherence to high-performance standards.
Qualifications- Technical skills including HVAC, electrical maintenance, and mechanical systems expertise
- Experience with troubleshooting and maintaining critical facility equipment and infrastructure
- Proficiency in monitoring systems, reading blueprints, and using diagnostic tools
- Strong understanding of safety standards, operational procedures, and compliance requirements
- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively as part of a team
- Willingness to participate in rotating shifts or on-call schedules as needed
- Relevant certifications or technical training, such as HVAC certification or electrical licenses, are a plus
- Prior experience in data center or critical facility environments is preferred
