Pool Warranty Technician

Position Overview

Anthony & Sylvan Pools is seeking a Customer Service Technician to manage and maintain swimming pools for our clients. This role involves coordinating repair schedules, performing equipment maintenance, and providing excellent customer service.

• Interacts with office staff to define repair and inspection schedules and maintain a working relationship to promote quality and scheduling efficiency.
• Assists in planning and coordinating warranty repairs based on workflow, project circumstances, and vendor availability.
• Performs small general swimming pool and pool equipment repairs, including crack repairs, leak detection, and plumbing repairs.
• Diagnoses, repairs, and replaces swimming pool equipment.
• Documents all pool services accurately and promptly.
• Performs advanced selling of equipment upgrades, chemicals, and other background products, being knowledgeable and comfortable discussing any Anthony & Sylvan equipment or pool–related maintenance service.
• Keeps current on pool–related service aspects by attending vendor and trade show training.
• Maintains the company vehicle, ensuring it is clean, stocked, and has proper inventory levels.
• Communicates with construction and warranty divisions, providing essential recommendations on customer claim issues.
• Handles, transports, and delivers pool chemicals to customers, including but not limited to chlorine, algaecides, pH balancers, and muriatic acid, and adds chemicals to customer pools per manufacturer directions.
• Assists in the in‑field training of new technicians.
• Completes other projects and duties as assigned.
• Follows Anthony & Sylvan Pool’s policies and procedures.

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent (preferred).
• 3–5 years swimming pool service / pool construction experience (preferred).
• Valid driver’s license (required).
• Strong communication, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
• Basic mechanical aptitude for equipment repair and working knowledge/experience in plumbing, masonry, and electrical (required).
• Team player with strong work ethic, excellent computer skills, and a positive approach to customer service.
• Occasional overtime and Saturday work during peak seasonal periods.
• Successful candidate will undergo the company training program.
• General pool background experience (preferred).
• NESP CMS & CMT (preferred).
• Excellent organization, quick learning, result orientation, attention to detail, interpersonal and communication skills. Team player with customer focus and self‑motivation.
