This position involves the installation of architectural grade doors, frames, and hardware, including toilet accessories, toilet partitions, lockers, and other Division 10 products.

Essential Functions
  • Follow instructions from field supervisor regarding installation of Division 8/10 products.
  • Work independently and with other installers to install assigned products.
  • Responsible for installation of more technically advanced or demanding architectural grade products.
  • Follow manufacturer direction and warranty requirements when installing products.
  • Track time and materials as required for each installation project.
  • Maintain all equipment in good working order and report any malfunctions to field supervisor.
  • Train entry‑level technicians on proper installation techniques and methods.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures.
  • Provide quality customer service.
  • Attend all training to learn new technology of building materials and installation methods as required by location management.
  • Other relative duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
  • High School Diploma, or an equivalent combination of education/experience.
  • Some installation experience with doors, frames, and hardware products, or Division 10 products.
  • Must pass pre‑employment background check and drug test.
Knowledge,

Skills And Abilities
  • Ability to read and use a measuring tape, level, and other required tools for installation.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills with the ability to communicate and understand detailed instructions.
Physical Demands

This position requires physical activity consistent with a construction or installation environment. The employee will spend more than two‑thirds of their time standing, kneeling, crouching, stooping, using hands to handle or feel, and reaching with hands and arms. Approximately one‑third of the time may be spent walking and engaging in verbal communication or listening. Frequent lifting and moving of materials weighing between 25 and 50 pounds is required.

Environment

This role may involve travel to project sites and exposure to a variety of environmental conditions. These may include outdoor weather, proximity to forklifts or other heavy machinery, and the use of hand tools or hardware. Employees may be subject to frequent heavy lifting and other physical demands typical of a construction or warehouse environment.
