Overview

Ace Handyman Services - West Charlotte is looking to hire a Full Time Craftsman/Handyman/Carpenter. We provide homes and businesses throughout West Charlotte and the surrounding area with quality craftsmanship for repair, maintenance, and remodeling projects – both large and small – inside and outside. We are seeking highly motivated professional Craftsmen with skills in multiple trades who are committed to quality work and customer service.

We favor independent thinkers with strong problem-solving and communication skills. You should be able to complete tasks in a timely and professional manner and have good technology skills to use our dispatch application.

• Perform multi-trade repairs and remodeling work (e.g., door/window repairs, screen repairs, drywall patches, carpentry, running toilets, tile repairs, wall repairs, lighting changes).
• Interpret job orders, plan work, and complete tasks to a high standard of quality.
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients.
• Maintain tools and equipment, and manage on-site safety and cleanliness.
• Utilize company dispatch software to receive and update job status.
• Collaborate with team members as needed to complete projects.

• Must own a truck or van in good working condition and have current insurance for the vehicle.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must own a standard set of tools to perform the work.
• Proven track record as a carpenter/craftsman (evidence required).
• Home inspection knowledge is a plus.
• Strong knowledge across trades including plumbing, carpentry, tile, electrical, and painting is preferred.

Compensation: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour.
