Founded in 1988, Moisture Loc provides waterproofing, crawlspace encapsulation, mold remediation, drainage and structural foundation services including foundation repair. The primary service region is the Charlotte Metropolitan area. Services are provided for existing homes as well as new residential construction. Today, Moisture Loc is the largest family-owned residential waterproofing and foundation repair company in the Carolinas.

What You’ll Do
  • Traveling ON TIME to the office with a reliable vehicle
  • Traveling ON TIME to scheduled appointments using a company vehicle
  • Completing on-site projects which could include:
  • Repairing or replacing wood beams, floor joists, sills and support piers
  • Installing additional supports such as sister joists, shims and bracing
  • Utilizing jack systems to level and lift sagging floors when Wall Anchors
  • Working with pressure treated lumber, engineered wood products and fasteners
  • Operating power tools, saws, drills and jacks to complete repairs safely
  • Following OSHA regulations, building codes and company safety protocols
Compensation

This is a full-time opportunity with competitive compensation. Benefits include medical, dental, vision and life insurance, paid holidays and a 401(k).

Requirements
  • Ability to pass pre-employment screening including a background check
  • Clean driving record and valid driver’s license
  • Able to start work at 7am and work to 5pm Monday to Friday and occasionally Saturday
Education & Experience
  • Previous experience in carpentry, framing and foundation repair preferred
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools and lifting equipment
  • Previous Construction and Home Improvement experience preferred
Nature of Work / Conditions
  • Work is typically performed on all types of foundations, in tight spaces and under houses
  • Work requires constant movement, is strenuous, physical and can include standing, bending, crawling, loading and unloading materials, pushing and pulling equipment.
