New World Telecom is hiring both cell tower foreman and top hand positions in the Carolina market for AT&T/Ericsson modernization project. Foreman must have prior crew lead experience with verifiable company references. Top Hand must have positive references from either company or another Foreman. Previous climbing experience (minimum 5 years) required, and full knowledge of build crew procedures. Must understand project lifecycle (from pickup to close out).
Previous experience with Ericsson/AT&T build and troubleshooting preferred. Experience with various tower types, civil/ground and tower top work.
- Foreman: $400 - $500 daily (depending on experience and completion of probation period)
- Top Hand: $350 - $450 daily (depending on experience and completion of probation period)
AT&T Modernization (Ericsson upgrade)
Responsibilities- Pickup and inventory EPL and material, and quickly determine missing/needed supplemental items
- Understand asset scanning (VAST)
- Organize and plan daily work procedures for 4-man crew (maximum efficiency and profitability)
- Understand and adhere to all safety protocols including JHA
- Verify all pre‑con procedures and photos are captured
- Create and manage build plan that holds to cutover and completion deadlines
- Build site to carrier standards and capture all requirements (Azimuth, Height, Spacing) for Pre‑VQA
- Complete VQA and resolve any punches
- Troubleshoot and verify site functionality meets standards (PIM/VSWR/Fiber Loss)
- Organize and return (RMA) all decom equipment and prepare for next project
- Must have technical knowledge and experience in completing COP deliverables (including, but not limited to job logs, field reports, and close out photos, sweeps, fiber tests, forms, etc.)
- Must be professional and help establish and maintain strong client, vendor, and internal relationships.
- Must be a leader capable of providing training, support and contribute hands‑on in the field to other crew members
- Need to be able to take care of company issued equipment (ability to maintain a company vehicle, issued test equipment and tools, jobs site housekeeping, etc.)
- Ability to work with Project Management, Field Supervisors, and other administrators in establishing and managing job budgets (hours, equipment, materials, etc.)
