- Provide customer service to staff, customers, and/or visitors at a financial institution by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Conduct armed patrols indoors and outdoors, including regular and random patrols of lobbies, offices, cash‑handling areas, parking areas, and the building perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or suspicious activity in a calm, problem‑solving manner, helping to deter unauthorized access and/or disruptive behavior.
- Control access at designated points by monitoring entry and exit, verifying identification and/or authorization as required, and directing visitors to appropriate areas.
- Complete detailed reports and shift documentation on incidents, patrol activities, and/or policy violations, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
- Have 3+ years combined law enforcement, military, and/or security‑related experience or a Criminal Justice college degree.
- Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
- Be 21+ years of age.
- An armed guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
