• Providing protection for various protectees.
• Conducting criminal investigations related to financial obligations of the United States.
• Planning and executing security designs for National Special Security Events.

• U.S. citizenship required.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to carry and use a firearm, with mandatory firearm proficiency.
• Minimum age 21 at application; less than 37 at conditional offer, with exceptions for prior federal law enforcement service or veteran's preference.
• Obtain and maintain a Top Secret Clearance.
• Visual acuity of 20/100 binocular, corrected to 20/20 in each eye.
• Hearing loss not exceeding 25 decibels in each ear at specified frequencies.
• Passing drug tests before and during employment.
• Complete 13 weeks of training at FLETC and 18 weeks at James J. Rowley Training Center.
• Willingness to accept assignments nationwide and overseas.
• Register with the Selective Service System if applicable.
