** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation and prompt notification to management and/or local authorities as directed.

+ Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including entrances, drive lanes, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity.

+ Control access to the location by monitoring entry points, verifying identification and/or authorization, and directing visitors to the appropriate area.

+ Monitor alarms, cameras, and other security-related systems when assigned, and take appropriate action based on post orders and location procedures.

+ Complete detailed reports on shift activities, patrol findings, incidents, and/or policy exceptions in accordance with Allied Universal standards and location requirements.

+ Carry and maintain assigned equipment in accordance with licensing requirements, training, and post orders, and follow all applicable use of force and reporting guidelines.

+ Support opening and closing procedures when assigned, including checking doors, gates, restricted areas, and key control measures to help to reduce unauthorized access.

+ Provide visible presence in customer-facing areas while maintaining a professional demeanor and assisting with directions and general questions as needed.

+ Coordinate with Allied Universal leadership and location management on security-related concerns, special events, and/or changes in site conditions.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + - Have at least 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or possess a college degree.

+ - Be at least 21+ years of age.

+ - CPR Certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.

+ - Alarm panel experience is preferred.

+ - Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

+ - Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ - Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ - As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
