Armed Security Officer (7-11) – Charlotte, NC, United States of America

Pay: $20.00 per hour

This is a part-time, third-shift position with weekend hours. Travel is not required.

• Patrol and monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules.
• Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances.
• Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of the premises.
• Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
• Warn persons of rule infractions or violations, evict violators from the premises.

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or provide documentation allowing residency and authorization to work.
• Must provide a high level of customer service.
• Some basic computer knowledge.
• Must be neat in appearance and grooming.
• Must be able to pass a drug screening and background investigation.
• Must have reliable transportation and phone.
• Military and/or law enforcement experience preferred but not required.
• Must meet the NC PPSB license requirements.
• 1-2 years of security guard experience preferred.

• Security license (unarmed or armed).
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Armed PPSB License.

• Hours:
  
  Friday–Saturday, Sunday, 8:00 PM–4:00 AM;
  Tuesday, 10:00 PM–6:00 AM.
• Location:
  
  Charlotte, NC area.
• Reports to:
  
  Clifton Wilkins.
