As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Financial Site in Charlotte, NC
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. You will work as a Part-Time Security Officer and can build a schedule that works for you using our Claim a Shift platform. Your role includes conducting routine patrols and interacting with employees and visitors to deliver exceptional customer service. • Pay Rate: $24.00 / Hour
• Job Schedule: Day Time Mon 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Sun 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate de-escalation techniques.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the facility and its perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other sensitive areas to deter theft, vandalism, and suspicious behavior.
• Document and report observed incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency responders as required during critical situations.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to assist employees, visitors, and customers with security-related concerns.

• At least 1 year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience.
• High school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Background check as required by federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Drug screen required, as permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements subject to state/local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.
