Security Officer - Bank Lobby Monitor in Charlotte, NC
. You will serve and safeguard clients in financial institutions and related environments. This is a Part-Time role with flexible scheduling that can accommodate your needs and opportunities to explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a financial institution, deter security-related incidents, and maintain a welcoming atmosphere for clients and staff. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to promote a secure environment, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Mon, Tue, Thu 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter of the financial institution to deter unauthorized activity and suspicious behavior.
• Monitor access points and observe activities to deter loss, theft, or other security-related concerns.
• Document observations, incidents, and activities as required by site-specific policies and Allied Universal procedures.
• Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.
• Follow all site-specific protocols and instructions provided by Allied Universal and the client location.

• Have a minimum of three years combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
• Proof of high school diploma or GED may be required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age. For unarmed roles, at least 18; for armed roles, at least 21.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.
