As a Security Officer - Financial Patrol Monitor in Charlotte, NC
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned financial institution locations, helping to deter security-related incidents through routine patrols and a visible presence. You will interact with employees and visitors, providing excellent customer service and clear communication.

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order within the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity, policy violations, or hazards encountered during patrols.
• Collaborate with site staff and local authorities as needed to address incidents or emergencies.
• Maintain accurate and timely logs and reports of daily activities, incidents, and irregularities.
• Follow all Allied Universal protocols and guidelines while performing assigned duties at the financial institution location.

• 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or a college degree.
• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age (18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment depending on state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.
