** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate de-escalation techniques.

+ Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.

+ Monitor entrances, exits, and other sensitive areas within the location to help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or suspicious behavior.

+ Document and report any observed incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal protocols.

+ Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency responders as required during critical situations.

+ Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to assist employees, visitors, and customers with security-related concerns.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + Have at least 1 year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience.

+ Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
