Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer - Dispatch Desk CRE in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients across a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate. You will play a key role in monitoring and coordinating security‑related activities. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication to tenants and visitors.
This part‑time position allows you to build a schedule that works for you.

Pay Rate$16.50 per hour
Job Schedule- Mon 1:30 PM – 7:30 PM
- Tue 1:30 PM – 7:30 PM
- Fri 1:30 PM – 7:30 PM

- Monitor and manage incoming and outgoing communications for the location, dispatching Allied Universal personnel as needed to address incidents or requests.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and coordinate resources to deter potential threats or disruptions.
- Maintain detailed logs of all activities, communications, and incidents, following site‑specific policies and procedures.
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security‑related procedures and offering assistance as appropriate.
- Support emergency response activities by following established protocols and relaying information to the appropriate parties.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with team members, property management, and external agencies as required.
- Conduct regular checks of communication equipment and security‑related systems to confirm readiness for response activities.
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal considers qualified applications with criminal histories consistent with applicable laws.
- Drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements may be required before employment.
- Valid driver’s license required only for driving positions.
