Job Description

As a Security Officer - Government Facility Rounds in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government. You will monitor and patrol designated government locations to help maintain a secure environment. By conducting regular patrols and remaining visible, you will help deter security‑related incidents while providing exceptional customer service.

• Thur 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security‑related procedures, following site‑specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem‑solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location to help deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Observe and report any security‑related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with controlling access to the location, verifying credentials when required, and monitoring visitor movement.
• Maintain detailed and accurate logs and/or reports of daily activities, incidents, and patrols as required.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency responders when necessary.

Minimum Requirements

• At least 6 months of security‑related experience.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation and drug screen as required by law.
• Licensing requirements subject to state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.
