As a Security Officer – Armed Bank Branch Patrol in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as financial institutions, and more. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security‑related incidents and support a secure environment. Your visible presence and professional communication will contribute to a welcoming atmosphere for clients and staff.

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter of the location, with attention to areas common to financial institutions.
• Monitor for suspicious activity or unauthorized access, and report observations according to post orders and protocols.
• Maintain a visible presence to help deter potential incidents and promote a secure atmosphere for employees and visitors.
• Interact professionally with visitors, employees, and vendors, providing assistance as needed while upholding security-related protocols.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports of daily activities, incidents, and any unusual occurrences.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders as required by site-specific procedures.
• Maintain proficiency in the use of assigned security equipment, including firearms, in accordance with Allied Universal policies and training.

• Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
