Job DescriptionAs a Security Professional – CRE Access Control in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents and uphold a secure environment for tenants and visitors.
Your visible presence and routine patrols play a key role in maintaining a welcoming atmosphere while delivering exceptional customer service and clear communication. - Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including appropriate emergency response activities as needed.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout commercial real estate properties and surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activities.
- Observe and report any suspicious behavior or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Maintain a visible presence to help deter potential security-related incidents at the location.
- Follow all post orders and instructions provided by Allied Universal and site management.
- Document and communicate incidents, observations, and/or maintenance needs observed during patrols.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Access control or badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
