Position Summary
As a Security Officer – Armed Financial Site in Charlotte, NC, you will safeguard clients across a range of industries such as financial institutions. You will conduct regular patrols, maintain a visible presence, and provide outstanding customer service and communication to deter security-related incidents.

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, professionally, and with problem-solving skills.
• Conduct regular and random patrols to deter unwanted activity and identify potential threats.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity or potential threats to appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
• Maintain a visible presence to deter unauthorized individuals and promote a secure environment within the financial institution.
• Follow all site-specific instructions and protocols for armed security duties, including handling and securing firearms in accordance with company and legal standards.
• Assist with access control, verify identification, and monitor entry and exit points as required by site procedures.
• Support emergency response activities, including evacuations and first aid, when appropriate.

• At least 1 year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Proof of high school diploma or GED required by the client.
• At least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
